Emails from Christian apologists: 3

Incredibly, even after uploading the previous pages, emails of the type described continued to be received from Christians. An example is as follows, with my response:-

>But how can you refuse the fact that
>scientist dont deny that jesus lived
I am not aware of any scientists who have found 'scientific evidence' for Jesus' existence and note that you choose not to name any of them.

>are finding more and more
>proof every day?
This is absolute nonsense. Please give examples of this supposed 'more and more proof' being found 'every day' that Jesus existed as the Gospels say that he did?

>Like it's historical accuracy, eyewitness support,
>manuscript evidence and non biblical references. So
>how can you prove for sure that God and Jesus don't
>exist?
All of what you have written here confirms exactly what I have asserted in this website, i.e., Christians do not bother to read the website before emailing. The lack of any eyewitness support, the dubious MSS evidence and the overall absence of evidence for Jesus' existence are fully discussed in the website.
If you are genuinely interested in the subject, then please read and consider the pages on this website that discuss the subject, or the relevant books which are recommemded. It is absurd to email people with messages such as the ones you have sent which merely show that you cannot be bothered, or are unable to deal with serious analytical discussion.
Read the pages dealing with the non-evidence for Jesus' existence and the material dealing with the unreliability of the Gospels. You can follow this by reading the page that deals with transmission errors in the MSS. And so on.
And then show where any statements made can be demonstrated as being incorrect (also supplying the relevant sources).

I took the time to reply to your previous email and recommended that you read certain material which showed the argument that you were making was invalid. Did you bother to read them? If not, then why bother to continue emailing?
If you did, then you should either concede the points made, or argue against them, but instead, you simply say nothing.
All you are doing is confirming that Christians are disinterested in any serious investigation of its claims and can only defend it by ignoring all damaging information, and making sweeping, generalised, almost-infantile statements that have no basis in fact or reality. As a Christian you are no doubt willing to accept things on this basis, but many others are not prepared to.
If you choose to make an argument, then at least consider what is offered in response to what you are saying and respond accordingly. You appear to be only able to conduct a one-way discussion, wholly ignoring whatever weakens your mythology.

To this, I received the following:
>okay i will read it but i wont beleive whatever
> it says....i will be spending eternity in heaven,
>i guess you have no interest in sharing that.
>dont bother emailing me back i guess you cant be
>bought
This provides an admission that this Christian has made up her mind that she will not believe (or as she says, 'beleive') material before she has even seen it ('i will read it but i wont beleive whatever it says').
Furthermore, after being challenged about her refusal to supply a response to anything said in reply to the points she has raised, she simply asks that she is not sent any further email replies.
I also take it that my request for her to 'Please give examples of this supposed 'more and more proof' being found 'every day' that Jesus existed' is not going to be supplied either - which is hardly surprising...
This once again confirms what has been outlined above, i.e., (i)that Christians will not objectively consider anything that challenges their belief; (ii)no less extraordinary, will also send emails that begin a discussion but have no intention of considering anything said in reply; and (iii)will make assertions to defend their beliefs even though there is no evidence whatsoever to corroborate these, and when this is requested, nothing further is heard.....
