Emails from Christian apologists: 5

Another email received stated the the following:
>I am a minister of the Word of God.
>I have read your inconsistencies and absurdities as
>you have called them and am amazed at the way that you
>twist the Word of God.
>I am also very educated with a Master of Divinity degree, a
>bachelors in theological studies, a bachelors in early
>church history. I find that your view of the scriptures is
>very alarming to me and that you would present this
>to the public is detrimental to your soul (Gal.1:6ff).
>You have taken the word of God as written in chapter in
>verse and not looked at the entire context of the Word.
>It is very dangerous to say that hear Jesus says this
>and here He says this without looking at the context
>that falls between.
>I pray that the God of Grace may forgive you and that
>you may turn from the darkness that has surrounded you
>and inot His glorious light. In Him....

My response to this 'minister'(!) was:
'I find it somewhat ironic that I am accused of 'twisting' the Bible when in reality Christian theology and belief is dependent this activity.
If you believe the Bible is an infallible authority, why not, as an example, provide a verse-by-verse reconciliation of the resurrection narratives (Matt 28, Mark 16, Luke 24, John 20-21, Acts 1 and 1 Cor 15:3-8)?'

Needless to say I did not receive any further communications from this 'very educated minister of the Word of God'.
